11.1.1 MOTF Configuration |
Complete configuration of the SP-ICE-3 Card's MOTF functionality involves several related software and hardware features.
The Main and Compensation Sources can selected individually from the available QuadratureDecoderModules.
Each such module has its own set of Configuration Properties, as described in 11.1.2 MOTF QuadratureDecoder Configuration
This is used to indicate the belt's position in the direction of travel.
If connected to the SP-ICE-3 Card and enabled by setting UseCompensation to true, this is used to indicate the belt's movement perpendicular to the direction of travel. |
Sets the direction vector of the Conveyor Belt's Frames of Reference relative to the User's Reference. This allows us to design marking vectors orthogonally to our workspace, without needing to adjust each vector at design time to take account of the actual angular alignment of the conveyor belt. See also: 8.2.2 Frames of Reference.
Sets the direction vector of the belt's movement perpendicular to the direction of travel. Only used if UseCompensation is enabled. See also: 8.2.2 Frames of Reference.
Adjusts the linear alignment between the User's and Conveyor Belt's Frames of Reference. This allows us to design marking vectors at a given location in our workspace, without needing to adjust each vector at design time to take account of the actual position of the part on the conveyor belt (which may not be known at design time). |
