1.4.1 Laser Safety

The SP-ICE-3 Card is used to control scan systems and laser sources. All relevant laser-safety regulations must be understood and observed.

The customer alone assumes responsibility for laser-safety in the whole system.

Danger  Warning!

  • Safety Regulations vary from country to country.

    • It is the customer's responsibility to know the applicable national regulations, and to satisfy them.

  • To avoid unexpected activation of the laser, always follow the power-up sequence described in 1.4.2 Safe System Power and Reboot Sequencing.

  • RAYLASE GmbH recommends use of a Shutter to prevent uncontrolled emission of laser energy.
