4 Adapter Boards

Reference material concerning the Adapter Boards.

Connection to the SP-ICE-3 Card

Each adapter is connected to the card by a cable attached to one of the UIO Ports ( X402 GpioD or X403 GpioE).

UIO Configuration EEPROM

The adapter hardware includes an EEPROM containing the necessary configuration for the UIO Port, which is automatically read by the SP-ICE-3 Card's firmware when it starts up.

Caution note  Caution

To avoid damage to either the adapter or the card, you must disconnect power from the card before you attach the adapter.

Mechanical Mounting of Adapter Boards

If required, the various Adapter Boards may be rigidly mounted to the SP-ICE-3 Card, and to each other, using 19 mm distance bolts.

Suitable bolts are, for instance: Würth part number 971190321
