2.1 Hardware

Prior to running this example (marking a rectangle) the hardware must be properly set up.

Setting up the Hardware

  • Connect a laser with your SP-ICE-3 card as described in the SP-ICE-3 user manual.

  • Connect a scan head with your SP-ICE-3 card as described in the SP-ICE-3 user manual.

  • Make sure the SP-ICE-3 card is reachable via ping from the development PC. In RAYGUIDE's GUI available SP-ICE-3 cards in the network can be searched with the magnifying glass button in the SP-ICE-3 settings dialog. See chapter Scan Controller Configuration in the RAYGUIDE User Manual for details.
