7.3.4 Process Variable Configuration Procedure

Process Timing and Operating Parameters can be configured according to the requirements of your particular application.

Please follow 17.1 Accessing the card with the SP-ICE-3 Configuration Tool for preparatory steps leading up to start of the following procedure.

See also: Recommended Initial Settings, below.

1. Select the Process tab.

   Scroll and resize it, if necessary, so that the required items are visible.

   
   

2. Set signals and parameters as appropriate.

   The following can be used as the basis for further application-specific fine tuning of the individual values.

   Recommended Initial Settings

   Parameter	Initial Value	Notes
   Jump Delay Mark Delay Poly Delay	All 0 prior to beginning fine adjustment procedures.	These values must be adjusted appropriately for the application.
   Laser On & Off Delays	Both 0 prior to beginning fine adjustment procedures.	These values must be adjusted appropriately for the application.
   Max Dwell Time	1000us recommend.
   Evaluation Lead Time	Please refer to: 12.9.1 Evaluation Lead-Time for Flow-Control Commands

3. To save the altered configuration to the card's non-volatile memory, click the Upload to card button.
