4.3.2 Connector J3 |
J3 contains 25 digital Signals to the SP-ICE-3 Card
Disconnect power from the SP-ICE-3 Card before connecting J3 to X402 GpioD on the SP-ICE-3 Card with the supplied cable.
Note that all signals on J3 are low active, except for the alarm signal. Also note that the automatic PortD configuration already accounts for the low active signals, so the user does not have to invert when writing or reading PortD.
If there is no interface present, the pull-up resistors on the SP-ICE-3 Card will make the alarm signal appear active, and all other signals inactive.
The J3 alarm signal is generated by OR-ing together all the alarm signals from the laser on J1.
The six alarm signals can be individually enabled and/or inverted via the SPI shift register when Universal Laser Mode is selected with the dip-switch S1.
Otherwise, the default for the specific laser type applies.
