4.3.4 DIP-Switch and Jumper Configuration |
The IPG-compatible Adapter hardware can be configured for any one of several similar laser types by means of jumpers W1..W6 and DIP-switch S1.
Note |
---|
This page only applies to the current adapter hardware version R2 001 V3 or R3 001 V3. |
The jumpers are used to select input and output functions of the configurable pins on Connector J1.
Jumper | J1 Pin |
Jumper pins 1,2 |
Jumper pins 2,3 |
---|---|---|---|
W1 | 15 | Sync_Alarm (Input) | N.C. |
W2 | 11 | Alarm3 (Input) | N.C. |
W3 | 24 | Back_Alarm (Input) | Reserved_Output_1 (Output) |
W4 | 12 | Alarm4 (Input) | N.C. |
W5 | 25 | Power_Monitor (Input) | N.C. |
W6 | 13 | Reserved_Output_2 (Output) | N.C. |
Various combinations of S1.1-4 are used to select:
how to react to the various alarm signals;
whether a custom configuration is loaded from the flash memory;
the specific laser type;
whether the 5V 500mA output on J1 pin 17 is enabled;
